This position is set in a portfolio that develops digital services in close cooperation with Porsche AG to develop digital marketing and digital sales solutions – in particular, this position works in a scaled agile environment that offers, markets, and sells our Porsche vehicles online.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Own and deliver engineering projects that improve security, reliability, compliance, and automation across our service landscape.
- Automate manual work and identify opportunities for tool building and automation.
- Collaborate with internal customers (Product Teams, Security, IT Operations, and Developer Productivity) to respond to requests and troubleshoot issues.
- Debug and solve complex technical problems using deep technical skills.
- Maintain high code quality standards by reviewing and providing feedback on code submissions.
- Contribute to long-term artifacts and roadmap planning.
- Demonstrate firm dispute resolution and technical decision-making skills and clearly explain decisions.
- Mentor team members, share knowledge actively, and uphold high technical standards in engineering artifacts.
- Develop and refine operational metrics and improve tracking systems for service health.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and solutions to maintain Porsche Digital's innovative edge.
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG:
- Successfully completed a university degree in (business) informatics, business administration, industrial engineering, or comparable.
- At least three years of experience as a Software Engineer in a (scaled) agile environment (e.g., SAFe), preferably in the automotive retail, e-commerce, or comparable environment.
- Self-starter and highly passionate about creating digital products for our customers.
- Expert in architecting and operating solutions built on AWS.
- Expert with modern development practices, containerization, and CI/CD.
- Proficiency in at least one software development language (Javascript, TypeScript preferred).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code in AWS (CDK preferred).
- Proficiency in leveraging APIs to make changes.
- Strong communication skills and very good written and spoken German and English.
